This custom covered deck in Norwalk, Iowa was built in 2025 and blends rich natural textures with clean, low-maintenance materials. The design offers both comfort and function, featuring premium composite decking, smart under-deck storage, and warm cedar accents overhead.

TimberTech Composite Decking

We used TimberTech Prime+ in Coconut Husk for the main decking area — a soft, natural brown that pairs well with any home. For contrast, Dark Cocoa boards were used as picture frame borders to define the space and give it a clean, finished look.

Under-Deck Storage with LP® Smart Trim
We created an enclosed storage area beneath the deck using LP® SmartSide Trim, painted to match the decking. This provides convenient storage space while maintaining a polished, cohesive look.
